Do I have to pay anything else?
No. This is a yearly fee, so in 12 months time you will be asked if you wish to renew your subscription.

Do I have to Pay you commission?
No. Once you have paid to advertise on Property Direct From The Owner there is nothing else to pay.

We do not charge ANY commission or other fees.

How do I pay to advertise on your website?
You can pay to advertise with Property Direct From The Owner via our secure payment system by credit or debit card or PayPal if you have an account. To make payment and list your property with us simply click on the Sell Your Property page and follow the Sign Up instructions or contact us for assistance.

What do I get for my money?

• 12 months of advertising on our website: Property Direct From The Owner; a website solely focused on putting property owners in touch with people who may be interested in purchasing or renting their worldwide property without involving Estate Agents and their costly fees.
• A dedicated marketing team focused on raising the profile of Property Direct From The Owner by search engine optimisation, internet advertising, property exhibitions, newspaper adverts to name just a few of the strategic marketing plans we are actively working on.
• A high internet profile including Pay Per Click advertising.
• Regular advertisments in property, holiday and travel publications including regular adverts in The Good Property Guide - available across the UK in newsagents along with Spas, Heath Clubs, 5 Star Hotel Suites, Eurostar, Club Class Airport lounges and all International Property Exhibitions.

What information do I need to have before I sign up to advertise my property with Property Direct From The Owner?

• You need photos of the property that you wish to advertise with Property Direct From The Owner ready to add to our website OR a website address where your property is already advertisied. (Photos can be copied from other sites)
• You need detailed information on the property that you wish to advertise with Property Direct From The Owner including number of bedrooms, bathroom, m2 of property, and be able to write a description of your property – the more information the better.
• The price you would like to sell your property for.
  

Why should I advertise with Property Direct From The Owner?
Because we only advertise properties direct from the owner. Most property portals and websites advertise property from a mixture of property developers, estate agents, off plan properties and a few owners, so you are not sure whether you are interested in a property from an owner or not. We ONLY deal with owners so you can be sure you are not lining any estate agents pockets!

Commissions on overseas properties, whether off plan, resale, brand new etc can be very high. On the Costa del Sol commissions generally vary between 5%-8% of the property price. In Cape Verde they can be 10% of the purchase price, so owners and buyers can save a considerable amount of money by buying direct. As long as both parties use a professional lawyer then why waste thousands of pounds on agents? Property Direct From The Owner puts owners and buyers in touch for a very small one off fee of £99 or €120 rather than charging a ridiculously high sales commission! How long will my property be on the website?
For 12 months. If you sell your property during this time then you may delete it from the Property Direct From The Owner website at any time. The fee to list your property is £99 or €120 for 12 months and there is no reduction in the fee or refund if you sell your property before or during the 12 month period.

How will my property be advertised on your site?
Your property will be added to our database of properties under the relevant country and/ or area. When a user of our website searches for property either in the area where your property is located or your property matches their search criteria then your property will be displayed. If you would like your property to feature in our ‘Top Picks’ or Featured Property section then contact us for further information info@propertydirectfromtheowner.com

How will people who are interested in my property contact me?
You must add a contact email address so any people interested in finding out further information on your property can contact you. In addition, you may also add contact telephone numbers.

How will you prevent me getting emails from unwanted parties – advertising etc?
You can choose if you want to add a contact telephone number to your property advert, or for privacy you may prefer to only list an email address. For no extra charge, if you prefer, we will screen all emails to ensure that you only receive emails from genuine people interested in further information on your property.

Can I list my property for sale and rent at the same time?
Yes, you may advertise your property for sale and rent at the same time. We offer a 50% discount on the yearly fee if you list your property for both sale and rent. You can either select both for sale and for rent options when you sign up with Property Direct From The Owner or log into your account at any time after registration.

 
What do you suggest I do if someone expresses serious interest in my property?

The interested party may want to speak to you over the telephone to find out more information about the property. The interested party may request to see copies of documents to prove that you own the property they are interested in. Before entering into any binding contracts we suggest both parties take legal advice Property Direct From The Owner does not recommend selling or buying a property without taking professional legal advice.

Do you offer any kind of after service to help me with the sale of my property?
